In Africa – a continent strategic to the Group’s investment plans – SACMI is leading the way in both technology and service. All the latest 2019 products for sustainable plastics and the new after-sales advanced service package to be showcased.

A major player across Africa, with dedicated branches and facilities and broad investment/development plans, SACMI will soon be taking part in Propak West Africa 2019 to showcase its latest products and illustrate the outlook for the industry. The fair – to be held in Lagos, Nigeria, from 17 to 19 September – is West Africa’s biggest packaging, food processing, labelling & printing technology event.

Visitors to the SACMI stand (in the collective Italian UCIMA display area) will have a great opportunity to get a close look at the Group’s extensive range and receive valuable advice – from the leading firm on the beverage plastics conversion market – on choosing the technology that best suits their needs.

The common thread running through all SACMI products and technology is sustainability.

These range from the CCM platform – expanded in 2019 to include the multi-layer caps solution – to SACMI IPS, the most reliable, versatile PET preform-making unit that can use up to 100% recycled material.
